Dr Nchimbi chairs as CCM meets to review reports on the General Elections’ aspirants

DODOMA: The Secretary General of the Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM), Dr. Emmanuel Nchimbi, today chaired a regular meeting of the National Executive Secretariat of the CCM at the party’s headquarters in Dodoma Region.

The meeting was convened following the completion of the process for collecting and returning nomination forms for various representative positions in state governance structures. It is scheduled to continue until July 16, 2025.

Among the positions under discussion are parliamentary constituency seats, membership in the Zanzibar House of Representatives, special seats for both the National Assembly and the House of Representatives, as well as ward councillorship and special seats at the local government level.

The Secretariat is expected to review preliminary reports on the aspiring candidates and plan the next steps in the party’s internal nomination process ahead of the upcoming general election.
