Death toll increase to seven in Dodoma road accident
The death toll in the head-on collision incident increased to seven, after a victim, undergoing treatment at a public hospital–Dodoma Regional Referral Hospital in the city, died on Monday.
The incident happened on Sunday when six people died after a head on collision involving a passenger bus and a truck at Mzakwe in Dodoma.
Health Minister Ummy Mwalimu who had visited the hospital told reporters that nine of the 21 survivors of the road accident have been discharged. “Eleven others are still responding to treatment,” she said.
