He made the remarks recently at an event to mark the National Law Day celebrations held at the Regional Resident Magistrate’s grounds in Kibaha Municipal Council.

He also urged the executives to fully comply with legal procedures, while emphasising that by-laws should be consistent with the country’s constitution.

For her part, Resident Magistrate In-charge Joyce Mkhoi stated that projects which were compensated were strategic related with business and economic issues, which involved a lot of money.

The cases were successfully solved after the court established special sessions. Ms Mkhoi added that through the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), the region has so far been able to conduct a total of 152 cases via video conference.

The move has helped to reduce operating costs as well as simplified transportation of detainees and prisoners.
