Alliance fire warning shot at Simba Queens

ALLIANCE Girls Head Coach Ezekiel Chobanka has warned Simba Queens to expect turbulence when they meet in the Women’s Premier League match at Mo Arena stadium on Tuesday.
Speaking about his team’s preparation ahead of the game, Chobanka said his players are well-drilled, and he is confident that they will win their third home match.
He said the team is fit and well and all the players are ready for the revenge match after losing 5-0 to Simba Queens in the first round match at Nyamagana Stadium.
Chobanka said his team played well in their last two games against Fountain Gate and Mkwawa Princess and he is convinced that they will work very hard this season to achieve the target of finishing among the top four teams.
He said the league is difficult because all teams work hard to ensure they win their home matches, but they will work hard to ensure they get positive results.
Chobanka, the former Mashujaa and the Tigers coach, called upon the football family in Mwanza to continue supporting their team in their home and away matches.
He said his midfield, defence and forward line sections are doing an excellent job.
Alliance Queens are placed fifth with 23 points after fifteen-game outings.
They have conceded twenty three and netted twenty four goals. Alliance Queens have seven, drawn two and lost six matches.
On her side, Alliance Girls’ skipper Anita Adongo said their match against Simba Queens will be difficult, but they are aiming to win.
After their match against Simba Queens, Alliance Queens will play against Amani Queens on May 10th and on May 17th this year they will end the Women’s League campaign by hosting Baobab at Nyamagana Stadium.
