Samia appoints duo to head MOI, PSSSF boards

DAR ES SALAAM: President Samia Suluhu Hassan has announced key appointments in two public institutions, naming Ambassador Dr Mpoki Ulisubisya as the new Executive Director of the Muhimbili Orthopedic Institute (MOI).
Ambassador Ulisubisya, a former Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Health, previously served as a Cardiac Anesthesiologist at Muhimbili National Hospital (MNH) in Dar es Salaam.

He also held the position of Tanzania’s High Commissioner to Canada.
A statement issued on Monday by the Director of Presidential Communication, Ms Sharifa Nyanga, revealed that President Samia has also appointed Ms Joyce Mapunjo as the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees for the Public Service Social Security Fund (PSSSF).
Ms Mapunjo replaces Eng. Musa Iyombe, whose term has ended.
