Samia appoints six officials to chair public institutions.

RUVUMA: President Samia Suluhu Hassan has appointed Mr. David Nchimbi to chair the board of Tanzania Communications Cooperation (TTCL).

According to the statement issued by Chief Secretary, Dr Moses Kusiluka, early Thursday, the Head of State also appointed Ambassador Aziz Mlima to chair the National Ranching Company (NARCO).

Equally, President Samia picked Ambassador Maj. Gen. (Rtd) Gaudence Milanzi  as the chair of Tanzania Posts Corporation (TPC) and Ambassador Valentino Mowola heading the Universal Communications Service Access Fund (UCSAF).

Other appointees are Col Joseph Simbakalia (rtd) who was named as chairman of the Tanzania Engineering and Manufacturing Design Organisation (TEMDO).

The list also mentioned Professor Neema Mori as being reappointed for the second term as Chairperson of the Air Tanzania Company Limited (ATCL).
