TABORA: CHAMA Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) has expressed satisfaction with the implementation of 13 development projects worth 4.5bn/- in Tabora Region, citing quality work and value for money.

“We are satisfied with the implementation, quality and value for money of the projects we inspected,” Mr Khambaku said.

He added that the committee had urged authorities to ensure proper protection and maintenance of the projects so they could continue serving residents for many years.

“These projects must be well maintained to sustain the benefits for wananchi,” he said.

The committee also directed that public education on the 10 per cent loans issued by councils to women, youth and people with disabilities be strengthened, alongside improved management of disbursement and repayment.

The regional CCM leadership commended President Samia Suluhu Hassan for continued funding of development projects in health, education, infrastructure, water and energy sectors across the region.

Officiating the CCM Regional Executive Council meeting at Kaliua District Council, regional chairperson Said Juma Nkumba urged public servants and service providers to implement the 2025–2030 Election Manifesto with integrity.

“The success of the manifesto should be measured by the quality of services delivered and tangible results that improve people’s lives,” Mr Nkumba said.

He called for cooperation among stakeholders, noting that improved services are central to the party’s commitments.

“You must continue working with CCM to ensure all promises made to citizens in 2025 are fully implemented,” he added.

During the meeting, members raised concerns over tobacco farming, particularly prices, quality and market operations.

The concerns were presented by chairpersons of Uyui and Sikonge district councils, who called for measures to safeguard farmers’ interests.
