EU envoy names his favorite destinations during his Tanzanian tour

LILONGWE: THE European Union Ambassador to Malawi, Daniel Aristi-Gaztelumendi, is expected to visit Tanzania soon with his family, with plans to tour Dar es Salaam and Zanzibar.

The envoy revealed this on May 6, 2026, during talks with Tanzania’s Ambassador to Malawi, Agnes Richard Kayola, held at the Tanzanian Embassy offices in Lilongwe.

The meeting formed part of the EU ambassador’s formal introductory visit aimed at strengthening diplomatic engagement and cooperation between the two sides.

The two diplomats also exchanged views on matters of mutual interest as Tanzania and the European Union continue to deepen bilateral relations in the region.
