Tanzanians table 800 issues at the ‘Talk to the Minister’ platform

DAR ES SALAAM: MORE than 800 issues submitted by citizens and health workers through the digital “Talk to the Minister” platform have received responses and actions, the Ministry of Health has confirmed.

Health Minister Mohamed Mchengerwa made the remarks today March 13, 2026 during his visit to Mwananyamala Regional Referral Hospital in Dar es Salaam, where he also participated in the “Talk to the Minister” event. The event brought together health workers and citizens to discuss challenges and provide feedback on the delivery of health services.

Through the platform, various issues have been addressed promptly, including infrastructure challenges, access to medicines, and management of health resources. The initiative has strengthened public trust and improved efficiency among health workers, demonstrating that the “Talk to the Minister” system is an effective solution for ensuring that every concern is addressed transparently and promptly.

Launched officially on January 26, 2026, the platform aims to enhance transparency and accountability in the delivery of health services, ensuring that government decisions align with the real needs of citizens.
