Tanzania records superior pass in Form Four Exams

DAR ES SALAAM: THE National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA) has officially released the 2025 Form Four National Examination (CSEE) results, showing a notable improvement in student performance compared to last year.

The examinations, conducted from November 17, 2025, brought together 569,883 candidates from 5,864 registered schools across the country. In addition, 25,927 private candidates sat for the exams at 813 designated centers.

Speaking during the announcement, NECTA Executive Secretary Prof Said Mohammed said the results demonstrate a positive trend in academic achievement, reflecting the continued efforts by schools and students to uphold quality education standards.

“The overall performance shows an increase in the pass rate compared to 2024, which is encouraging for the education sector and the nation as a whole,” Prof Mohammed said.

NECTA emphasized the importance of continued support for students, teachers, and schools to maintain and further improve examination outcomes.

The council also urged candidates to plan their next steps carefully, whether pursuing advanced studies or vocational pathways.

The release of these results marks another milestone in Tanzania’s education system, reinforcing the government’s commitment to enhancing learning outcomes nationwide.
