AI-Powered training initiative launched to accelerate Tanzania’s ICT growth

DAR ES SALAAM: DYNATECH Solutions Limited has launched a special training programme aimed at driving transformation in innovative technologies, particularly the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI), with the goal of accelerating the development of Tanzania’s Information and Communication Technology (ICT) sector and boosting the national economy.

Speaking during the opening of the training, Dynatech Solutions Limited Director Exaud Kimboi said the company has positioned itself as part of the solution to technological advancement in the country by providing essential knowledge required to build modern and sustainable systems.

“We have organised this training to broaden understanding of innovative technologies that will stimulate the creation of robust products powered by advanced science and Artificial Intelligence,” Kimboi said.

He added that these technologies will help strengthen and expand the ICT sector by bringing about structural and systemic changes that will improve the coordination of daily operations in financial, educational, and technology institutions.

Kimboi further emphasised the strong collaboration between Dynatech and the Government through various ministries and agencies, noting that this partnership highlights the company’s growing role as a key driver of technological change in Tanzania.

“Dynatech Solutions Limited believes the technology sector is an engine of development. We call upon companies and institutions to join us in advancing efforts to build a technologically empowered nation for the benefit of society and the economy,” he added.

He explained that Dynatech continues to be a major contributor to the growth of ICT systems, with a focus on cloud database management and the establishment of modern digital systems.

Meanwhile, Dynatech Manager Wangui Kaboreta highlighted the importance of Oracle’s presence in the country, noting that for over 47 years, Oracle has provided technological solutions to institutions worldwide.

Principal Senior Engineer at Oracle, Gabriel Mwongera, presented Oracle’s latest AI-powered solution integrated within its systems, a development that enhances efficiency in data storage, processing, and management for modern institutions.
