CCM assures Moshi residents of its zeal to upgrade people’s economic status
MOSHI: The Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) Vice Chairman, Tanzania Mainland, Stephen Wasira, the ruling party, is committed to seeing Tanzanians develop to the upper medium economy as the CCM’s 2025–2030 Election Manifesto.
Speaking at Vunjo in Kilimanjaro rural, Wassira said the government under CCM governance is determined to bring the desired development to people and warned those who are grumbling and conveying messages about various challenges in the country through protest, saying that it is outdated and not the right way of presenting issues.
Mr Wasira made the statement when addressing CCM leaders and members from the Vunjo and Moshi Rural constituencies in Moshi town.
He stressed that there are better and more appropriate ways to deliver messages to the right authorities, especially through peaceful means.

Additionally, he said that what Tanzanians want is development and that CCM’s 2025–2030 election manifesto is determined to bring the desired development to the people.
Mr Wasira said that the construction of key infrastructure will facilitate economic activities and create jobs for citizens.
“People demand modern railways, because in the developing world, the difference between our countries and the developed ones is infrastructure. When you arrive, you see wide roads, and there are high-speed railways, so everything moves fast,” he said.
Moreover, he said that the party’s manifesto directs the railway to connect Pugu, Tanga, and Arusha through Kilimanjaro.
