Prime Minister’s Office reminds staff to work diligently, collaboratively

DODOMA: THE Principal Secretary of the Prime Minister’s Office (Policy, Parliament, and Coordination), Dr. Jim Yonazi, has called on staff within the office to continue working diligently, professionally, and collaboratively in order to effectively fulfill their responsibilities and achieve positive outcomes for the nation.

Speaking during the official opening of a staff meeting held today, July  29, 2025, in Dodoma, Dr. Yonazi emphasized that workplace discipline, creativity, and unity are key pillars in realizing the office’s goals and contributing to national development.

He further stressed the importance of teamwork among employees, noting that collective effort is essential in overcoming any challenge.

“I also urge you to continue building solidarity among yourselves. When we collaborate, we create a collective strength that no challenge can overcome. Let us continue working hard and with unity of purpose. Remember, every contribution you make holds great value in achieving the goals of our Office and the nation as a whole,” Dr. Yonazi explained.

Addressing ongoing improvements for the 2025/2026 financial year, Dr. Yonazi noted that the Prime Minister’s Office is committed to enhancing the working environment by addressing various challenges faced by employees. These include improving staff welfare, promoting innovation in daily operations, and strengthening systems for accountability and performance monitoring to ensure every employee fulfills their role responsibly.

As part of the meeting, staff are receiving financial literacy education from experts from UTT Asset Management and Investor Services regarding the importance of investment. In addition, they are being educated on public service ethics and health issues, particularly hepatitis and non-communicable diseases.

The meeting aims to build staff capacity and enhance collective performance to ensure the delivery of high-quality public services to citizens.
