Nesch Mintech signs cooperation agreement with Saudi’s mining firm

DAR ES SALAAM: IN a move aimed at boosting the mining sector, Tanzanian-owned company Nesch Mintech has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with New Future Mining Company from Saudi Arabia.
The partnership focuses on joint mineral testing operations utilizing Nesch Mintech’s laboratory facilities in Tanzania.
The agreement seeks to enhance economic opportunities between Tanzania and Saudi Arabia through scientific and technological collaboration in the mining industry.

Speaking during the signing ceremony held in Dar es Salaam, Nesch Mintech Director, Happiness Nesvinga, described the partnership as a historic milestone, highlighting Tanzania’s growing global trust in the mining sector. She emphasized that the collaboration would open up significant economic and social opportunities for Tanzanians, particularly for the youth.
“Our goal is to ensure mineral testing is conducted in a professional and international environment, using our modern laboratories. This is a major opportunity for our country and the community to benefit from our natural resources,” said Nesvinga.
Mohammed Alomoudi, Director of New Future Mining Company, stated that the partnership is expected to be long-term and highly beneficial to both countries. He added that the collaboration would also generate employment for young people and strengthen trade relations between Saudi Arabia and Tanzania.
On his part, Gilead Teri, the Executive Director of the Tanzania Investment Centre (TIC), congratulated Nesch Mintech on this achievement, noting that the government values and supports local investors. He said the company’s success abroad is a clear indication that Tanzanians can compete in international markets.
This agreement is expected to serve as a catalyst for growth in the mining sector and further solidify economic ties between Tanzania and Saudi Arabia.
