DAR ES SALAAM: Brave Tanzania have landed safely in the country from Algeria where they qualified for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) finals.
The full squad led by coach Adel Amrouche has touched down through Julius Nyerere International Airport (JNIA) in Dar es Salaam on Saturday morning.
The AFCON finals will be played in Ivory Coast early next year and this is the third time for Tanzania to qualify with the first time recorded in 1980.
Meanwhile, the country’s envoys will launch group E African Qualifiers FIFA World Cup away against Niger before hosting Morocco in Dar es Salaam between November 12th and 21st this year.
Thereafter, Stars will welcome Eritrea in the city before travelling to Lusaka to interface Zambia between June 3rd and 11th next year.
Then between March 17th and 25th next year, Taifa Stars will welcome Congo in Dar es Salaam before flying out to play Morocco while between September 1st and 9th, Stars will face Congo away before hosting Niger in the city.
