Young Africans’ opponents Monastir land in Dar

Young Africans opponents in CAF Confederation Cup US Monastir have landed in Dar es Salaam safely on Friday morning.

They have come with a full squad despite already qualifying to play in the quarterfinals of the contest.

The two teams meet at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam on Sunday in a decisive clash for the country’s envoys.

A win by Yanga will assure them a slot into the last-8 as they will accumulate 10 points in five matches similar to Monastir who leads group F with 10 points.

However, the Tunisian side are searching to complete the group stage mission on gas pedal by escaping defeat.

They have won three of five games played and recorded one draw in the process making Sunday’s encounter exciting and competitive.

The going is tough for TP Mazembe who cling to the third place with 3 points after losing three times and winning one match.
