Young Africans arrive in Dodoma ready for Premier League encounter

DODOMA: Young Africans have landed safely in Dodoma ahead of their 11th Premier League match versus Tabora United on Saturday.

The game unfolds at Jamhuri Stadium in Dodoma as the duo battles for maximum points to keep ascending the log.

It is the clash between the second placed Yanga with 27 points against the fifteenth occupants Tabora United who cherish 15 points from 12 games.

Another hot league match tomorrow sees KMC hosting Simba at Azam Complex in Dar es Salaam.

From 13 matches, KMC have gained 20 points to occupy fifth slot whereas Simba have generated 22 points after nine games to stay put on third place.

Until now, Azam leads the league table with 31 points stamped from 13 encounters as they trounced Kagera Sugar 4-0 at Kaitaba Stadium in Kagera on Thursday.

However, according to the Tanzania Premier League Board (TPLB), the league will be suspended in January to pave way for the 2024 Mapinduzi Cup and Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) games.
