Young Africans have signed Ugandan center-back Gift Fred on a three-year deal.
The towering defender joins the champions on a free transfer from SC Villa of Uganda.
He has been paraded to the public on Tuesday evening through the club’s verified Instagram page and Twitter account.
Until now, Fred is the first foreign based player to land at the club in the ongoing transfer window.
He joins fellow Ugandan teammate Khalid Aucho, among dependable holding midfielders for Yanga.
Already, the Jangwani street side have made one domestic signing of Nickson Kibabage.
According to the club’s President Hersi Said, they will only make minor improvement to their squad ahead of next term.
