DAR ES SALAAM: The reigning champions of the NBC Premier League, Young Africans (Yanga), have parted ways with head coach Ángel Miguel Gamondi.
Gamondi leaves Tanzania’s soccer giants after guiding the club to win the Premier League and returning to the CAF Champions’ League group stage for the first time in nearly three decades.
A statement issued by Young Africans through various social media platforms on Friday confirmed the departure of the Argentinian tactician, who had served at the club for only 17 months since his arrival in June 2023.
