Young Africans aim helm in KMC duel

DAR ES SALAAM: YOUNG Africans seek to regain the pilot seat as they face KMC at Kinondoni Municipal Council’s stadium in Dar es Salaam tomorrow.

A victory to the defending champions will place them back at the helm with 49 points as Simba who claimed the top spot after defeating Tanzania Prisons at the same venue on Tuesday Monday, will remain with 47 points.

Still, it won’t be any easy ride to victory as KMC have hard nut to crack though head-to-head records seem to favour the visitors.

If Young Africans win and retain the top spot, they will remain longer at the helm as their closest challengers; Simba, who were to face Dodoma Jiji, won’t be in action as their game with Dodoma Jiji has been called off as some of Dodoma Jiji players still nurse injuries following the road accident along Dar es Salaam-Mtwara highway.

The third Premier League match on Friday will be staged at Kaitaba Stadium in Bukoba where hosts Kagera Sugar will lock horns with Singida Big Stars.
