Yanga coach vows to give it all

DAR ES SALAAM: YANGA’s newly appointed head coach Sead Ramović, has vowed to give his all as the club prepares for their first CAF Champions’ League group A clash against Sudanese club Al Hilal at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam tomorrow.

With just one day left for the clash, the coach expressed his commitment to the team and to continuing the legacy of those who have come before him at the club.

“We still have a day to prepare for the upcoming match and we will give everything for this game—on the field, for the club and for everyone who has been part of this journey,” the coach stated in his latest comments.

“I am following in the footsteps of many great coaches who have been here before me and I will do my best to continue their legacy.”

Acknowledging the significance of coaching one of Africa’s most prominent clubs, the coach reflected on the club’s history and his role in furthering its success.

He expressed gratitude to the players, staff and everyone who has contributed to the club’s growth over the years. “It’s an honour to be part of one of the best clubs in Africa,” he added.

“I am thankful to everyone who has helped bring the club to where it is today. My goal is not to change everything overnight or claim to be the best. I am here to do my part, to build on what has been achieved and to help this club continue to succeed.”

While the coach is focused on the upcoming match, he also underscored the importance of patience and time in football development. Drawing a parallel to physical fitness, he reminded that success does not happen instantly.

“Every coach and everyone involved in football understand that success takes time.

You cannot expect immediate results. If you go to the gym today and expect noticeable muscle growth after just six days, it’s not realistic. It takes time—weeks, months, even longer—for real transformation.

This process is no different; we will work hard, but patience and persistence are key.”

As the clock ticks down to tomorrows big match the coach’s commitment to giving his best for the team and the club remains unwavering. The nation envoy in the Champions League is placed with MC Alger and TP Mazembe.
