YOUNG Africans Head Coach Nasreddine Nabi has given credits to Ruvu Shooting for their incredible performance admitting that whenever they meet, the game is always tough.
The two teams met on Monday at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam with Yanga emerging 2-1 winners courtesy of second half goals by Feisal Salum and skipper Bakari Mwamnyeto.
The outcome saw Ruvu Shooting who hosted the game dropping essential points at home as they now have 9 points after six league games.
On the other hand, the defending champions have annexed 13 points from five matches to be at par with leaders Simba who also have accumulated 13 points after the same number of outings.
“Whenever we play against them (Ruvu Shooting), the match is always difficult. Even last season, we defeated them after one of their players was red-carded while the second match elapsed in a draw.
“Today (Monday), they came up with a different format as they played with three defenders, five midfielders and two strikers which made it difficult for us to penetrate.
“In the second half, we came up with a new plan and eventually scored two goals but it was not an easy game,” said Nabi who is searching his second consecutive premier league title at the helm of the club.
He added that International FIFA breaks usually affect a lot game plan of clubs as until now, his playmaker Stephanie Aziz Ki has not yet rejoined the club while insisting that most of them upon their return, their performance drops.

On his part, Ruvu Shooting trainer Boniface Mkwasa lauded his players for executing well his game plan saying whatever they trained for was applied on the pitch despite the negative results.
“We played very well especially in the first half but could not manage to score goals. In the second half, we committed some mistakes which our opponents utilised well to punish us,” said Mkwasa.
It was his third slump of the season in the NBC Premier League and prior to Yanga match, they defeated Coastal Union 2-1 at Uhuru Stadium in the city.
In another NBC premier games yesterday Geita beat Polisi Tanzania 2-1 in a match played at Sheikh Amri Abeid Stadium.
Geita got their first goal in 45th minute through George Mpole and the host capitalized in 66th minute through Hassan Kapona before Edmund John scored the winner for Geita in 82th minute.
Ihefu played 1-1 all draw with Tanzania Prisons at Sokoine Stadium in Mbeya.
Ihefu took the lead in 4th minute through Jafary Kibaya before Jeremiah Juma equalized for Tanzania Prisons in 80th minute.
