CAF-CL: Wydad beat Simba 1-0

MOROCCO, Marrakech: Simba have suffered a 1-0 defeat from Wydad Casablanca in their third CAF Champions League (CAF CL) match.

The tense match at Stade de Marrakech in Morocco on Saturday night has seen the hosts claiming their first win of the campaign.

A last-gasp strike by Zakaria Draoui sealed the game in favour of Wydad Casablanca who now have three points in three matches.

For Simba, they remain win-less in three games and sit at the bottom of the table with two only points in the bag.

As it stands in group B, ASEC Mimosas leads with 7 points seconded by Jwaneng Galaxy with 4 points and followed by Wydad Casablanca who have 3 points.

The Reds will bank on their next two home matches to claim maximum points and be better placed to make a breakthrough into the quarter-finals.
