Work extra hard, Nape urges TTCL

MINISTER for Information, Communication and Information Technology, Mr Nape Nnauye has urged Tanzania Telecommunications Corporation (TTCL) management to continue working hard as they have been trusted by President Dr Samia Suluhu Hassan.
“I am standing here to congratulate you for the excellent work you are continuing to do in improving communication in the country, and I know that you are running a big campaign dubbed “Fiba Mlangoni kwako” … Our call to you as the government is to continue working hard and touch people’s lives, continue to provide services and ensure that things go well,” Mr Nape said
Minister Nape made the remark during an Iftar dinner event organized by TTCL in Dar es Salaam.
He said that the National ICT Broadband Backbone (NICTBB) and National Internet Data Center (NIDC) have been transferred to TTCL.
“TTCL has been transformed since you were appointed by President Samia, you have made great reforms within the organization and that is why the Head of State decided to transfer the basic communication infrastructure to you, including National ICT Broadband Backbone (NICTBB) and National Internet Data Center (NIDC,” he said.
Moreover, he told TTCL management that the government and the citizens have trust trusted them and the entire guarantee of communication in the country is in the hands of the company, adding that it should continue to improve communication services on a daily basis.
Minister Nape was accompanied by the Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mr Selestine Kakele and some of the ministry’s directors.
