DAR ES SALAAM: THE CCK manifesto presents a vision for transformative change in Tanzania’s social, economic and political sectors, with the ultimate goal of bringing meaningful development to all citizens.
It pledges improvements across key areas, including decent housing, good governance, quality healthcare, inclusive education, modern infrastructure, strong security, sustainable economic growth and expanded employment opportunities.
The manifesto identifies priority sectors as the main drivers for achieving these objectives.
Governance

It will ensure that Tanzanians are granted a new constitution that strengthens the Union and promotes good governance.
The party commits to upholding the rule of law, equality for all and fair budgeting, ensuring a proper balance between the Legislature, Executive and Judiciary, with no favouritism in budget allocations.
CCK will also support global peace efforts in collaboration with local and international institutions.
Education
CCK pledges to provide free education nationwide, including one free meal a day for every student while at school.
It will introduce a uniform national curriculum across public and private schools.
Kiswahili will be promoted as the main language of instruction, while other languages will be tailored to students’ chosen fields of study.
The party will build boarding facilities for both girls and boys wherever necessary, based on community needs.
CCK will support a “bagfree child” initiative by focusing on each child’s talents and interests from early education, ensuring targeted and purposeful learning.
A special emphasis will be placed on education in law, anti-corruption, ethics and patriotism.
Healthcare
CCK will strengthen the health sector at all levels, from ward health centres to referral hospitals.
It pledges to curb the mismanagement of medicines and work closely with healthrelated organisations to ensure accountability.
The manifesto promises improved maternal, child, paternal and family health services, alongside a strong national response to mental health challenges.
It will abolish hospital charges for releasing the bodies of the deceased, ensuring families are not burdened by such costs.
Loans and Credit Access
CCK will create an enabling environment for all Tanzanians to access loans within the country, with low-interest rates and targeted schemes for special groups.
It will provide loans designed to generate profit rather than losses for the nation.
Loan allocation will be fair and inclusive, benefiting both employed and unemployed citizens, including graduates and non-graduates alike.
Employment

It will guarantee employment consideration for graduates of National Service (JKT) and militia programmes.
The party also commits to expanding job opportunities in sports, arts and talent development.

It will reform the national pension formula to maximise benefits for retirees and reduce anxiety among workers approaching retirement.
Infrastructure
CCK will establish a longterm infrastructure development plan, minimise future disputes while designating special zones for community and national use.
It will build tarmac-standard roads in every ward and neighbourhood.
The party will oversee land surveying and allocation to avoid future demolitions.
CCK will prioritise crucial community-focused elements in infrastructure, such as market areas for every street, sports grounds for every ward and street, areas for primary and secondary schools, areas for hospitals, areas for houses of worship, industrial areas, cemeteries, recreational areas for every district and waste disposal areas (dumpsites).
Security and Defence
CCK will ensure adequate security for all citizens across mainland and Zanzibar.
It will work closely with security forces to maintain peace and national stability. Special attention will be given to strengthening border security.
Fisheries
CCK will develop modern fishing infrastructure, including the purchase of large vessels to support deep-sea fishing, enabling Tanzanian fishers to increase profits domestically and internationally.
It will also create better fish markets across the country.
