Watu Tanzania supports paediatric cardiac care at JKCI

DAR ES SALAAM: WATU Tanzania has donated two syringe pump machines and 50 essential baby care products to the Jakaya Kikwete Cardiac Institute, supporting the delivery of specialised care to children living with heart conditions.

The syringe pumps will remain in use at the institute, helping medical teams administer medication and fluids safely and precisely to young patients. As reusable medical equipment, they will continue supporting the care of many children over time and strengthen the resources available to healthcare professionals working in paediatric cardiac care.

The additional baby care products will also help meet the everyday needs of young patients and their families during treatment.
