Nchinga attributed the company’s success to its nationwide network of approximately 1,993 agents operating across all regions of Tanzania, including Arusha, Mwanza, Kagera, Songwe and other areas. He said the extensive agent network has improved customer access to the company’s services while also creating employment opportunities.

He added that Watu Credit will continue bringing its services closer to communities across the country to enable more Tanzanians to own smartphones with ease. According to him, the initiative is expected to support the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises while further strengthening participation in the digital economy.

Nchinga also encouraged members of the public to visit the Watu Credit exhibition booth at the Sabasaba Trade Fair to learn more about the company’s products and services and explore the opportunities available through its smartphone financing programme.
