VP launches a book documenting Samuel Sitta’s life, history and his contribution to Tanzanian democracy

DAR ES SALAAM: VICE President Deogratias Ndejembi has launched a book documenting the life, history and contribution of former Speaker of the National Assembly, the late Samuel Sitta, to public service and nation-building.
The launch took place during a ceremony marking the 10th anniversary of Sitta’s death, attended by several national leaders, including a retired Prime Minister, a former First Vice-President and former Speaker of the National Assembly, Anne Makinda.
Speaking at the event, Ndejembi urged leaders, young people, students and Tanzanians in general to read the book, saying it contains valuable lessons on good leadership, public service and the responsibility of leaders in nation-building.
