Vote for development, Biteko tells Bukombe residents

GEITA: CCM parliamentary candidate for Bukombe Constituency Dr Doto Biteko has urged Bukombe residents to turn out in large numbers and vote for CCM candidates on October 29th General Election.
He said that the development witnessed in the constituency is the result of President Samia Suluhu Hassan’s commitment and love for the people.
Speaking at a campaign rally held recently in Runzewe West Ward, Bukombe District, Geita Region, Dr Biteko noted the significant development projects implemented under President Samia’s leadership over the past five years, including the construction of roads, schools, water projects and healthcare facilities.
“The progress we have achieved here in Bukombe is because of President Samia’s love for you. That’s why I’m asking you to support all CCM candidates on October 29, so we can continue building on this development,” Dr Biteko said.
He mentioned the Msasa project, which is currently being expanded to serve more residents, and pointed out other achievements such as the construction of a new District Council Office, a modern market and a bus terminal, all aimed at improving public services.
“Our district now has five A-level secondary schools (Form Five and Six). We are building a university right here in Bukombe and have constructed storage warehouses. If you elect us, we’ll add more secondary schools so children born here can access education at every level,” he added.
Dr Biteko stressed the importance of voting as a civic duty and a way for citizens to demand continued development:
“Your job is to vote, so you can hold us accountable for delivering development. President Samia truly cares for the people of Runzewe and Bukombe. On October 29, let’s all go out and vote for her.”
on his part, CCM councillor candidate for Runzewe West Ward, Mr Patrick Isongolo praised President Samia and Dr Biteko for their efforts in improving the area.
“Last year, Dr Biteko contributed to the construction of a health centre. We used to struggle with poor roads and a bridge at Sae, but with his support and that of the CCM government, we’ve seen real progress,” said Isongolo.
At another rally held in Runzewe East Ward, Dr Biteko said that President Samia is committed to accelerating high-quality development for Tanzanians. He cited the allocation of funds to complete the Msonga Health Centre, construct a new health facility, and build schools in the ward.
“I want to inform you that we’ll be rehabilitating the road at Kona Nne to improve access. I’ve also instructed the councillor to find land so we can build another school for local children,” he said.
Dr Biteko also pledged to bring electricity to every hamlet in Runzewe East, emphasising that such progress depends on citizen participation in the elections.
“There are 17,006 registered voters in this area. I urge all of you to turn out and cast your votes for President Samia Suluhu Hassan, myself as your Member of Parliament and Mary as your ward councillor,” he added.
The current councillor for Runzewe East, Ms Mary Nchiba also called on residents to support CCM candidates, saying “Our party has delivered real development. Let’s vote for the leaders who have brought these changes to our community.”
