Global Communities is implementing a primary-school program, called Pamoja Tuwalishe, and is recruiting members of their project team.

  1. The Deputy Chief of Party is responsible for the implementation of program activities, including engagement with partners and government structures and representatives. The DCOP is responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring, and reporting on the program’s activities, tracking progress, documenting achievements, and managing challenges. The DCOP is a member of the Senior Leadership Team and will supervise the Technical Specialists and the Sr Program Managers.

2. The Director of Finance and Administration is the most senior member of the finance and administration team responsible for all Finance, Administration, Procurement, Fleet and Security activities and is a member of the Senior Leadership Team. The DFA ensures systems are in place to remain compliant to GC and donor regulations and requirements. The DFA will lead the annual auditing and reporting processes, ensuring GC’s compliance with Tanzania laws and regulations and ensuring Global Communities’ registration remains in good standing.

3. The Senior Manager, People & Culture (HR.) is responsible for the development and implementation of human resources programs, processes, systems, and tools that enable the workforce and foster commitment to Global Communities’ mission, vision, and strategy. The SMP&C is a member of the Senior Leadership Team and ensures that proper human resource systems are in place to recruit, employ, motivate, develop, and retain a productive and successful team of professionals.

4. The Senior Manager, Commodity Management oversees the commodity systems and operations: port, logistics network, information systems; warehousing, transport, procurement, distribution, inventory, and staff. The SMCM is responsible for developing clear management systems to guide compliant commodity management at the program warehouse and schools. The SMCM will develop and ensure training on the procedure manuals, tools and training materials to effectively manage program commodities. The SMCM is a member of the Senior Leadership Team and is responsible to the adherence of commodity standards.

5. The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the effcivient Finance functions in Dodoma and Mara offices, maintaning compliance with with organization and donor regulations. The FAM will manage the financial processes: cash forecasting, reporting, making payments, accurate acounting enteries, preparing budget anaylsis. The FAM will also ensure all admin and financial activities in the Mara office are coordinated closely with the program teams and executed effectively.

6. The Senior Manager, Monitoring Evaluation & Learning is responsible for the development and implementation of the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning systems that support program activities. The SMMEL is a member of the Senior Leadership team and wil develop and update the MEL strategy and framework for excellent program monitoring and evaluation. The SMMEL is responsible for effective program data management that includes the digital collection, cleaning, archiving, analysing, and reporting. The SMMEL is responsible for strengthening collection, interpretation and data utilization capacity of the project teams and partners.

7. The Technical Specialist, School Feeding provides overall technical leadership for school feeding activities in program schools and communities, will be a national thought leader, and help strengthen the government’s school feeding system The TSSF represents Pamoja Tuwalishe in school feeding technical conferences and meetings and provides oversight for the planning, implementation, monitoring, innovation, and evaluation for school feeding-related activities. The TSSF will be responsible for developing clear implementation models and to standardize school operations enabling replication. The TSSF will develop digital procedure manuals, tools, and training materials to equip schools, local government, and communities to manage and sustain school feeding.

8. The Fleet & Security Manager is responsible for providing stratergy planning, coordination and supervision of all fleet activities. The FSM ensures proper use of fleet properties (vehicles, motoxycles, tools and sparep parts and suuplies) and ensures the program operations are in line with organizations security policies and procedures. The FSM supervises drivers and mechanics and oversees the Integrated Fleet Management System.

9. The Technical Specialist, Women Empowerment provides technical leadership for WE activities, will be a national thought leader, and develop a model that equips women to shape their futures and community groups to increase their household income security. The TSWE will be responsible for developing clear implementation models to standardize WE group operations and enable replication. The TSWE represents Pamoja Tuwalishe in Village Savings and Loans and women’s empowerment technical meetings and provides oversight for the planning, implementation, monitoring, innovation, and evaluation for WE program activities and budgets.

10. Technical Specialist, Climate-Smart Agriculture provide overall leadership to implement the agriculture component, with special focus on climate mitigation/adaptation approaches. The TSCSA is responsible for developing clear implementation models to be executed and replicated in shcools and communities. The TSCSA is a national thought leader, influencing policy and investment to stregthen the government’s school feeding systeam focusing on local production of commodities in schools and communities. The TSCSA provides oversight for the planning, implementation, monitoring, innovation, and evaluation functions for all agriculture-related program activities. The TSCSA provides direct oversight for the agriculture team in Dodoma and provide technical assistance for the Mara team.

11. Sr. Program Manager – Dodoma is responsible for coordinating the planning, implementing, monitoring, and reporting on all program activities. The SPM is responsible for coordinating all program activities implementation in Dodoma and is point of contact for local government representatives. The SPM oversees the visibility and documentation strategy, the infrastructure investment strategy and establish a system to develop high quality model documentation: manuals, tools, and training materials. The SPM will contribute to the private sector engagement efforts and will coordinate delivery of technical support related to construction and/or infrastructure rehabilitation projects across program sectors.
