Uongozi Institute graduates urged to demonstrate integrity, innovation,d boldness in serving Tanzania

DAR ES SALAAM: THE Minister of State in the President’s Office for Public Service Management and Good Governance, Ridhiwani Kikwete, has urged graduates of the UONGOZI Institute to demonstrate integrity, innovation and boldness in carrying out their responsibilities in order to contribute effectively to national development.
Ridhiwani made the remarks in Dar es Salaam during the institute’s ninth graduation ceremony, where he encouraged graduates to apply the knowledge and skills acquired through their training to improve workplace performance.
He said leadership is not merely a position, but a responsibility that requires accountability and dedication in serving citizens and the nation at large.
He further called on the graduates to ensure that the training they received becomes a catalyst for reforms and sustainable development within the institutions they serve.

“It is important to use the education and skills you have gained to bring positive change in your workplaces and remain patriotic to our nation,” Ridhiwani said.
Speaking at the event, the Chief Executive Officer of the UONGOZI Institute, Kadaru Singo, said the ninth graduation ceremony reflects the institution’s continued commitment to developing leaders capable of addressing various leadership challenges.
Singo noted that the institute believes good leadership is a key foundation for development, and that its programmes are designed to equip participants with the capacity to identify and address weaknesses within leadership systems.
