TZ Prisons guns target Coastal Union

TANZANIA Prisons have pointed their guns at Coastal Union as they battle up for maximum points in a Premier League match at Sokoine Stadium in Mbeya today.

It is a golden chance for the two teams to pocket essential victory and keep ascending the ladder as the first round of the season heads to a braking line.

Prison’s victory will see them knock 17 points on the log as they play their 11th match of the campaign and they have been utilising well their home ground in collecting vital wins.

In their previous match, they were held to a 1-1 draw by Ruvu Shooting at Uhuru Stadium in Dar es Salaam hence an opportunity to recover from the setback.

For Coastal Union, they were also forced to a barren draw by Geita Gold at Mkwakwani Stadium in Tanga and they are focused to turn the corner and disappoint their opponents.

The Tanga-based outfits are playing their eighth match of the season and have so far bagged 8 points from the seven-game outings and they still struggle to get back on the winning lane.

Tomorrow, league action continues with a solo fixture as Geita Gold welcome KMC at Nyankumbu Girls School’s ground in Geita searching for essential points at the end of 90 minutes of play.

Both sides have 13 points after playing ten league games; hence it is more like a finale to them.
