FINLAND: MINISTER for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Mr Mahmoud Kombo, on Thursday, this week, held talks with Finnish President Alexander Stubb in Helsinki on strengthening bilateral ties between the two nations.
Their talks focused on shared interests and deepening cooperation.
Both leaders emphasized the importance of the strong diplomatic relations established in the 1960s.

Moreover, Minister Kombo also delivered greetings from President Samia Suluhu Hassan, who praised Finland’s long-term support for Tanzania.
Mr Kombo is in Finland for a three-day working visit where today he is scheduled to meet with various Chief Executive Officers of selected major Finnish companies to mobilise and promote investment opportunities available in Tanzania to the potential investors.
