Tulia Ackson donates 2m/- to support women at Uyole Moravian 

MBEYA: THE President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) and Uyole Member of Parliament, Tulia Ackson, has donated 2m/- to support activities of Christian women’s groups during a special global prayer gathering held in Mbeya.

The prayers took place at the Moravian Church in Uyole. They brought together members of the Uyole Valley Christian women’s fellowship as part of an international prayer initiative led by Nigerian women Christians.

The programme aims to unite women from different Christian communities worldwide to pray together and strengthen faith and solidarity among women believers.

Dr Ackson joined the congregation in the prayers and commended the initiative for promoting unity and spiritual support among Christian women.

The donation is expected to support various activities carried out by the women’s fellowship organising the prayer programme.
