TTCL launches hyper-speed FAIBA internet service

DAR ES SALAAM: IN efforts to strengthen Tanzania’s communications infrastructure and expand access to reliable internet services across the country, the Tanzania Telecommunications Corporation (TTCL) has officially launched a new high-speed internet service dubbed “Faiba Supersonic Experience; Kasi Balaa” aimed at providing reliable and affordable connectivity to Tanzanians in the digital economy era.

Speaking during the launch on Monday, the company’s Director of Commercial, Vedastus Mwita, said the service is designed to accelerate the use of technology in various activities, including online business, education, youth innovation, and modern communication.

According to Mr Mwita, improved connectivity will play a key role in boosting digital innovation, supporting online businesses, and accelerating the country’s digital economic growth.

Elaborating, the Director noted that through the Faiba Mlangoni Kwako service, customers will enjoy high-speed internet that allows them to perform multiple digital tasks simultaneously, such as streaming videos, playing online games, conducting office work and running businesses more efficiently.

Additionally, he said the new packages offer speeds ranging from 60 Mbps to 250 Mbps, giving users faster and more stable connections for everyday digital needs.

He added that customers who subscribe to the packages will also receive free TTCL mobile lines, a move aimed at encouraging more people to join the service.
