TPSF hosts former Executive Director for strategic engagement

DAR ES SALAAM: Tanzania Private Sector Federation (TPSF) had the honor of receiving a courtesy visit from Mr Godfrey Simbeye, who previously served as the Executive Director of TPSF for approximately nine years. During the visit, he met with the institution’s leadership led by the Acting Chief Executive Officer, Deogratius Massawe.

In their discussions, Simbeye shared his experience and provided strategic insights on how to further strengthen the role of the private sector in the national economy. He expressed his appreciation for the performance of TPSF as an umbrella organization for the private sector and commended the leadership’s efforts in advancing policy advocacy and representing the interests of the business community in the country
Furthermore, he emphasized that effective coordination among business associations is a key foundation for enabling the Government to listen and respond more efficiently to challenges facing the private sector. He noted that the ongoing efforts by TPSF to strengthen this unity are commendable and play a significant role in improving the business and investment climate in the country
TPSF remains committed to consolidating the voice of the private sector and working closely with the Government to ensure the development and implementation of business-friendly policies that promote inclusive and sustainable economic growth
