DAR ES SALAAM: THE Tanzania Olympic Committee (TOC) has officially announced the upcoming election for the Tanzania Olympians Association, scheduled to take place on December 10 in Dodoma.
Mwinga Mwanjala, the Secretary General of the Tanzania Olympians Association said the election will focus on selecting key leadership positions, including the chairperson, vice-chairperson, secretary and treasurer of the association. Additionally, there will be election of three members to serve on the Tanzania Olympians Committee.
Nomination forms for the positions that are open exclusively to former Olympians, will be available starting tomorrow. The submission deadline for completed forms is Thursday, November 15.

Mwanjala further clarified that the application fee for the positions of chairperson, vice chairperson, secretary and treasurer will be 20,000/-, while the fee for committee membership applications will be 15,000/-. Forms distribution will begin tomorrow at 4:00 PM.
