TFF reopens Ali Hassan Mwinyi Stadium

TABORA: THE Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) has officially reopened the Ali Hassan Mwinyi Stadium in Tabora for league matches after the venue underwent necessary renovations to meet regulatory and football standards.

This was announced in a press statement yesterday signed by the TFF Media and Communication Officer, Clifford Ndimbo.

The stadium was previously banned from hosting matches on February 28th of this year due to inadequate infrastructure, which did not comply with the Club Licensing Regulations.

The venue was banned on February 28th of this year. However, following an inspection, TFF confirmed that the required improvements had been made, allowing the facility to resume hosting games.

TFF has reiterated the importance of clubs maintaining and upgrading their home stadiums in collaboration with facility owners, particularly for teams that do not own their venues.

The federation emphasised that quality stadiums enhance the competitiveness and value of the league.

Following this announcement, all teams that previously used Ali Hassan Mwinyi Stadium as their home ground can now resume playing their matches at the venue.
