TFF raises concern over use of federation logo by Sandaland

DAR ES SALAAM: THE Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) has expressed concern over the use of its logo during a press conference organised by Sandaland Fashion Wear in Dar es Salaam.

In a statement published on its Instagram account, the federation said it was not involved in the press conference and had not been informed beforehand about its contents, which centred on national team jerseys.

“TFF was neither part of, nor aware beforehand of the contents of the meeting held today in Dar es Salaam, which discussed national team jerseys,” the federation said.

TFF said Sandaland Fashion Wear should stop using its logo in materials relating to matters that do not fall within the contractual relationship between the two parties.

The federation added that it would write formally to the company seeking clarification over the use of its logo during the press conference.

The statement was signed by the TFF Information and Communications Officer, Cliford Mario Ndimbo.

The development comes amid discussions surrounding national team jerseys, with TFF stressing that the use of its official branding should be confined to matters covered by its existing contractual arrangements.

TFF said it would seek further clarification from Sandaland before determining the next course of action.
