TFF launches digital ticketing as battle lines drawn for Community Shield thriller
DAR ES SALAAM: FOOTBALL fans seeking to watch the highly anticipated Community Shield match between Simba and Young Africans can now purchase tickets through a new official digital platform launched by the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF).
The Tanzanian football giants meet on Wednesday, August 12, 2026 at Amaan Complex in Zanzibar and the match serves as curtain raiser heading to the 2026/27 Premier League season.
Addressing media outlets today, August 10, 2026, TFF Information Officer, Clifford Ndimbo, said one fan is allowed to purchase not more than four tickets.
Additionally, Ndimbo said the ticketing system, available through www.tff-tickets.com, went live today, August 10, 2026, offering fans key match details including seating categories, seat numbers and competition information.
He said the platform also has mechanisms to verify the authenticity of tickets, aimed at curbing fraudulent tickets and enhancing security at the stadium.

Moreover, he urged fans to use the official digital platform, saying it was designed to make ticket purchases easier while strengthening security and ensuring only valid ticket holders gain access to the stadium.
The Community Shield match between the Dar es Salam soccer giants is expected to attract thousands of football fans, with authorities calling on supporters to obtain tickets through the official system to avoid fraud and unnecessary congestion at the stadium.
