THE Legal and Players Status Committee of the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) has reinstated its stance on midfielder Feisal Salum ‘Feitoto’ ruling, maintaining that the player belongs to Young Africans until 2024.
However, the TFF cited the laws, regulations and procedures and argued the player should approach his club to discuss how the two sides can reach mutual agreement on how to terminate the contract.
A Friday’s statement issued by the federation’s Media and Information Officer, Clifford Ndimbo states that Tanzania’s soccer governing body still recognizes the contract between the two parties is still legitimate until the said period.
“After reviewing and considering all the arguments submitted by both parties in writing, the committee has rejected the request on the basis that it had already decided…,” TFF stated.
The decision comes following a letter that was written to the TFF on March 6, 2023 by Feitoto, appealing for TFF to the committee on the termination of the contract.
