Kinondoni traders body affirms its support for the government’s move to launch a trader’s identification system

DAR ES SALAAM: THE Chairperson of the Kinondoni District Traders Association, Godfrey Mtei, has announced that the association is committed to working with the government to launch a new trader identification system aimed at addressing various challenges facing business operators in the district and across the country.

Speaking in Dar es Salaam, the chairperson said the new identification system is expected to improve the recognition of traders and strengthen cooperation between the business community and government authorities.

The initiative is also intended to provide practical solutions to issues affecting traders.

“We are determined to join hands with the government in launching this new trader identification system to help resolve the various challenges facing traders in Kinondoni District and across the country,” the chairperson said.

The chairperson also invited stakeholders to attend the official launch scheduled for Monday in Dar es Salaam. The event will be officiated by the Minister for Industry and Trade, Judith Kapinga, and is expected to bring together key representatives from the business sector and government institutions
