She cited one of initiatives to develop local skills as the partnership between the company and a woman at Mabinti Center to create a range of bags and sleeves for MacBook as well as cable pouches and other accessories.

The accessories will be marketed under the brand name ‘Milele’.

Ms Martin highlighted that the introduction of these Milele branded products will allow their customers to choose good quality, locally made accessories to complement their Apple product.

Ms Martin explained that iStore believes it is the customer’s right to access the same Apple experience in Tanzania as they would elsewhere in the world.
