TANZANIA Building Agency (TBA) has continued to make signature progress in making good architectural designs, conduct evaluation, implement and manage construction projects in the country.
TBA Public Relations Manager, Mr Fredrick Kalinga said recently at the just concluded Fifth Mining Technology Exhibition at the Bombambili squares in Geita Region that the agency has widened the scope of projects implementations in the country.
He said the government has solved all challenges that were facing TBA, including the shortage of staffs, insisting that TBA is well equipped to manage and complete all the projects on time, while observing value for money and standards.
“At Mtumba government site in Dodoma we are constructing several government and ministries offices among them being the office of the ministry of minerals at which is currently 58 per cent complete.
“We have three buildings currently under construction at Geita Region Referral Hospital; we also have five buildings that we have built at the Chato Referral Hospital and six buildings of various institutes here in Geita Region. We are also undertaking a big project of 3500 houses for government employees at Nzuguni in Dodoma,” he said.
Opening the exhibition, the Minister for Minerals, Dr Dotto Biteko urged TBA to increase efficiency in completing projects on time and to hand over buildings so that they can be used by the relevant authorities to carry out the duties of providing services.
