Tanzania’s boxer wins WBF title after defeating Argentinian

Tanzania’s pugilist Twaha Kiduku is once again on spotlight after defeating Argentinian boxer Victor Hugo on points to claim WBF International Super Welterweight title.

 The 10-round bout climaxed the Mo Green Vitasa Night at Jamhuri Stadium in Morogoro on Friday night where a number of boxing events were staged beforehand.

The two boxers stood firm in all rounds resisting to fall on the ground forcing the panel of judges to declare Kidugu as a winner for scoring more points against his colleague at the end of the 10th round.

It is another success story for Kiduku who is doing well in this industry thereby putting the country on the world face courtesy of international bouts he embraces.

In a Super Middleweight match, Dullah Mbabe saw off Limbani Lano barely in the first round as the latter surrendered after receiving strong drizzling punches from the former enabling the referee to end the fight.

Also, household name boxer Karim Mandonga cherished a TKO win over Said Mbelwa in the fifth bout of the day.

The flamboyant Tanzanian Mandonga’s victory sparked celebrations at the venue with his supporters cheering him for the good job well achieved.
