Tanzanians assured of stable supply of petroleum products as fuel prices fall

DAR ES SALAAM: THE Tanzanian government has assured its citizens of a stable supply of petroleum products despite ongoing challenges in the global energy market, including conflicts in the Middle East that have disrupted the global supply chains.
Minister for Energy Deogratius Ndejembi said the country’s fuel security is underpinned by effective management of the petroleum sector and the implementation of strategic measures aimed at ensuring consumers continue to access fuel at affordable prices.
He said the recent decline in domestic fuel prices fulfills a commitment he made while presenting the Ministry of Energy’s budget in Parliament, where he pledged that institutions under the ministry, including the Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation (TPDC) and the Energy and Water Utilities Regulatory Authority (EWURA), would ensure consumers benefit from favourable movements in global fuel prices.
The minister’s remarks followed EWURA’s announcement of new fuel prices for August 2026, which show reductions compared with the prices announced for July.

Under the new price schedule, petrol imported through the Port of Dar es Salaam will retail at 3,898/- per litre, down from 3,990/-. Diesel prices have fallen from 4,182/- to 3,978/- per litre, while kerosene has dropped from 4,443/- to 4,003/- per litre.
Mr Ndejembi said as Tanzania continues to import fuel at lower costs, consumers will continue to benefit from reduced pump prices, a development expected to ease transport costs, lower production expenses and reduce the overall cost of living.
He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to strengthening the country’s energy security through various policies and strategic interventions to ensure a reliable and uninterrupted supply of petroleum products despite continued uncertainties in the global market.

Generating tattoo references can be especially useful at the early idea stage, when the challenge is choosing a direction rather than copying a final image. A tattoo image generator can help test combinations of subject matter, composition, and visual mood so that vague preferences become discussable examples. The strongest use is as a planning aid: compare options, identify what feels essential, and bring the clearest references to an artist. From there, the artist can adapt the concept for the body, technical constraints, and the way the tattoo should age over time.
