Tanzania, UK in talks aimed to deepen their long-standing ties in key economic, social sectors
DODOMA: PRIME Minister Mwigulu Nchemba has held talks with the British Ambassador to Tanzania, Marianne Young, in efforts to strengthen diplomatic and development cooperation between the two countries.
The discussions, held today, June 5, 2026 at the Prime Minister’s office in the Parliament in Dodoma, focused on enhancing long-standing relations between Tanzania and the United Kingdom across key economic and social sectors.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to continued collaboration in areas that support development, investment and improved social welfare, underscoring the importance of sustained diplomatic engagement for mutual benefit.
