Tanzania traders to attend business forum in China

Small and medium-sized mineral business traders from Tanzania are expected to visit China in July, 2023 to enhance cooperation with their Chinese counterparts.

Tanzania’s Ambassador to China, Mbelwa Kairuki made the statement through the embassy’s verified Twitter handle, @TZEmbassyCN saying that while in China, the traders will participate in a business forum, an opportunity to meet with various investors from the mining sector.

According to the Ambassador, initially the trip was scheduled in 2020 by China’s Touchroad Group in collaboration with the Federation of Miners’ Associations of Tanzania (FEMATA) but was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
