Tanzania sends 4 youth cyclists to regional competition

DAR ES SALAAM: FOUR Tanzanian youth will represent the country in the prestigious Grand Nairobi Jubilee Live Free Race, the regional cycling event that spans over 100 kilometres on Sunday.
Asnath Moris, Frank Mariki, Hassan Shariff, and Warizi Masoli will be among 3000 participants from all East African countries.
The cyclists were announced at a press conference in Dar es Salaam, where Dr Judith Mashala, Chairperson of the Youth Talent Development Committee, expressed pride in the team’s preparation and readiness for the competition.
The quartet, comprising three men and one woman, received sponsorship from Jubilee Health Insurance and Jubilee Life Insurance.

Dr Harold Adamson, Executive Director at Jubilee Health Insurance, emphasized the company’s commitment to promoting sports and healthy living through its wellness department.

The cyclists were selected through rigorous national and international competitions, showcasing their exceptional skills and determination.
