Tanzania, Nigeria hold talks aimed to accelerate Investment, trade for economic development

LAGOS: THE Tanzania Investment and Special Economic Zones Authority (TISEZA) has convened a high-level Forum in Lagos, Nigeria, led by the Tanzanian High Commissioner to Nigeria, Selestine Kakele, High alongside the Director General, Dr. Chinyere Almona, FCA, and the President, Eng Leye Kupoluyi, of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI).
The Forum, held under the theme “Accelerating Investment and Trade between Tanzania and Nigeria for Economic Development,” aimed to attract Nigerian investors to explore opportunities in Tanzania.

Deliberations highlighted priority sectors including tourism, agriculture, industry, real estate, the blue economy, and mining—sectors strategically aligned with Tanzania’s Vision 2050.
TISEZA reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Nigerian investors in establishing and expanding ventures in Tanzania, underscoring the Forum’s role in advancing bilateral cooperation, strengthening trade partnerships, and promoting sustainable cross-border investment.
